Rick Newland began in the painting business in June of 1971, working for one of the best painters in Columbus, Indiana for over 10 years. In the summer of 1981 he became partners with Steve White to form Newland & White Decorators. One of the privileges he has experienced over the years is teaching a class for wallpaper installation on Super Saturday for IUPUC campus here in Columbus. Other privileges he has participated in include volunteer work in New York, Ohio, Kentucky, Canada, Guatemala, El Salvador, Jamaica and about 60 projects in Southern Indiana.

 

 

Steve White grew up in a painting household. His father, Loren White, had been painting since 1946 until his retirement just a few years ago. Growing up around the painting business, Steve was able to learn many facets of the business from the experience of one of the best painters in Columbus, Indiana. Steve has been able to teach a class of Faux painting at the IUPUC campus here in Columbus. Other privileges he has participated in include volunteer work in New York, Kentucky, Puerto Rico and about 60 other projects in Southern Indiana.
